Faster.
We were already moving so fast that I could hardly breathe. Of course I wouldn’t be beaten, especially by clumsy land dwellers. They were heavy and slow- even their horses tired quickly.
But they weren’t on horses this time, they were on a boat. They were in our territory now.
And I had Keelan.
Just from my thoughts, the great water horse beneath me shook his head, sending salt water spraying in all directions as we rushed forward after the small fishing vessel.
These islands were sacred, and it was against the law to cast nets here. But apparently these humans were not the law abiding type. Father would be angry,

Great Expectations
They don’t understand, no one really does. They think I’m crazy, clinging to the idea of an imaginary friend to dispel the loneliness of depression.
I’m not depressed, it’s just the way I am. I can’t be bothered to feel happy or excited over stupid things, like moving to a new house. Again. Don’t they ever get tired of moving a family of seven halfway across the country?
But here we are, in our new home in some pathetic suburb. I couldn’t care less what state, let alone what town we had parked ourselves in now.

"The Girl on the Pier"
I saw her first when coming back from the waves
Lonely and sad, reaching out from the safety of the dock
It was a treacherous bay - weather that no woman braves
There she was, shimmering white when our eyes locked
But when I reached the pier, she was gone
I came to the pier every day before sunrise, hoping to catch her sight
But the creaking of the dock was all that accompanied me
I was haunted, the memory of her, her eyes telling her plight
I walked slowly, the rain was pouring, and I could hardly see
But then I saw her again, I knew I loved her from here on
She turned to face me, the rain trailing down her bare arm
Dragon Colors and Breaths:

After her twin sister Eilin foolishly led a revolt against the supreme rulers, the dragons, and killed their Bhanrí, she paid the ultimate price. She went with the dragon Rígh- their high king- as a sacrifice for their fallen queen, and to stop them from killing the more of her people. She is a Druia, a healing priestess, and even at her young age, exhibits power that none ever had before. She is gentle and caring, a true healer who wants peace for her p
I was in the temple when they started screaming. The village had erupted into chaos, people running in terror, grabbing children and belongings as they descended upon the innocents. I ran to the door, my eyes widening as I heard the frightening roar of the attackers. The dragons were here, something had brought their wrath down on us.
The treaty would never allow for such massacres as this. My father, the chief Muiredach was guiding people towards the village center, towards the temple where I was standing. My mother, Fand was busily treating the wounded. People rushed into the temple to pray, and I let them past me. I looked up at the sky,
